The underwear has integrated 4-layer textile technology in the groin area that wicks moisture away from the skin, absorbs it and prevents leakage.
1. Absorbent layer: The quick-drying fabric absorbs all moisture for optimal comfort. This layer contains antibacterial silver particles that kill 99 per cent of bacteria.
2. Highly absorbent fabric: The hygienic layer neutralises odours and has an absorption capacity equivalent to three basic pads, making it suitable for both heavy and light menstrual days.
3. Impermeable membrane: This membrane remains impermeable to moisture even after 50 washes and has a breathability that significantly reduces odour formation.
4. Ultra comfort: Soft, breathable and so comfortable you'll forget you're wearing it! This is the kind of comfort you can rely on all day long, even during your heaviest flow.
Bamboo fibre and organic cotton. Waterproof PUL fabric is used to prevent moisture from passing through. The elastic is made from spandex and viscose to fit your body perfectly. All our products are PFAS, PFOS and PFOA free.
Our recycled nylon is made exclusively from regenerated waste material using a mechanical process that is completely chemical-free. This reduces CO2 emissions by 80% and water consumption by 99% compared to yarn made from new polymer.

Maysa Period Wear is made from certified, health-safe materials. Gynaecologists recommend wearing it for 8-12 hours, depending on your period. The absorbent layer is antibacterial for optimal hygiene. The underwear can be washed at up to 60 degrees without losing its absorbency, but this can affect its lifespan and colour; therefore, it is preferable to wash at 40 degrees.
Contrary to popular belief, you are not soaked in your own discharge when wearing period panties.
The top layer in the crotch is breathable and dries very quickly. The airy fabric allows the fluid to flow quickly through the inside of the panty, so that the surface feels dry. The fluid is thus wicked away, collected and retained by the absorbent fabric underneath, in the core of the panty.
Maysa period underwear is designed to minimise odours. The absorbent layer contains antibacterial treatments that prevent bacterial growth and thus odours. This keeps you feeling fresh and confident all day long.
Once or twice a day. You can wear one pair of underwear for 8-12 hours. However, this depends on the heaviness of your period. For days with heavy periods, we recommend choosing models designed for heavy or extra heavy periods.
